Store is Now Open! Exclusive Tea Blends and More!

Some super exciting news! Friends, I am so very happy to announce the launch of AZ Cookbook online store! We have an exclusive selection of tea blends, made specially for friends of AZ Cookbook, with each one of you in mind.

AZ Cookbook partnered with Tea Amore, the producer of the finest organic and natural tea blends, to create these beautiful blends. We sampled and re-sampled the teas until we obtained three top flavors, that all our testers absolutely raved about. Now it is time that you try them, too! I am super excited for you! All our blends are made with organic and natural ingredients only. Only the best quality.

So the three amazing tea blends we are introducing are:

Cardamom Vanilla Black Tea: You just love this tea at first sip. To my own surprise, when I first tried this blend, I realized how beautifully cardamom and vanilla complement each other. Amazing aroma and flavor. And only a teaspoon is enough to yield a generous teapot full of tea.

Passion Fruit Bouquet Great Tea: This blend is ideal for green tea lovers and for those who appreciate subtle, exotic flowery and fruity notes in their tea. As one of our testers declared after the first sip, “This is divine!”  A perfect description for a perfect blend.

Spice Delight: We wanted to create a blend that would warm you and take you to some faraway exotic places. A gentle touch of various aromatic spices and crispy almonds, added to black and green teas made our vision possible. Spice delight = pure delight.

We pack our tea into securely sealed bags, to preserve the best quality and freshness. Each bag  contains 2 ounces of tea blend, which can make up to 30 cups (big 6-ounce cups) of freshly brewed tea, depending on how strong you like it. (I like my tea mild and I drink it in a special small curvy tea-cup,  so 1 bag yields more than 30 cups of tea for me, which is totally awesome!)

I have a feeling you will love all our blends! Go ahead and order yours! Make a gift for yourself and your loved ones! (holidays are around the corner, too).

Hey, wait! We also have a serrated crimper on our store – the kind called maggash,  used to decorate the surface of shekerbura, traditional Azerbaijani holiday pastry. But you can use it for any pastry projects you desire. Make your pastries stand out!

Alright. Without further ado. The store is now officially open. Welcome and enjoy! I am off to celebrate with a cup of freshly brewed tea.

A few days ago, I ventured into making my very first blueberry Bundt cake to take to a picnic with friends. I thought it would be a perfect accompaniment to black tea we all took there in our thermoses to enjoy in the open air. (If you ask why black tea and why any tea at all, it’s because no...

I’ve been one of them for the longest time but never before in my...

A bit of a belated post, but wanted to share about an exciting event that took place earlier this month. On June 5, I co-hosted the very first Azerbaijani cooking class in Los Angeles with my friend Mike Benayoun of 196 flavors. The class was taught in Santa Monica’s very cool place – Stage+Table. Mike created the event in honor...
