Giveaway from The Lovely Stains (Winners Announced)

The Lovely Stains - Card Giveaway

I have great news to share! My uber talented friend Ann just opened her own store on Etsy! It is called The Lovely Stains!

What Ann is doing is beautiful and unique. She creates cards, painting on them with red wine! Red wine! Never seen cards painted with red wine. Have you? She also uses water colors on some cards. Ann’s designs are beautiful – birds, flowers, trees, envelopes, boxes – everything Ann creates is so refined, clean, and speaks of Ann’s characteristic sense of style which I love! I am the lucky owner of some of Anna’s cards and I absolutely adore them. They are great for any occasions, and Ann has some that are holiday related as well.

Quess what? Ann is willing to give away some of her gorgeous cards to AZ Cookbook readers!

Two lucky winners will receive a set of 2 cards (one holiday card and one wine-painted card) that come with envelopes + a surprise gift (she won’t even reveal what is is to me – I am curious!) as an added bonus!

Winners have to be in US. But no worries, whether you are in US or elsewhere, Ann is generous to everybody  – she is giving out a promo code that you can use towards a 10% discount on any purchase on her store! Simply enter  the promotion code “AZCookBook” at checkout to receive 10% off any order you place. No Etsy account? No worries. Email Ann and she will help you: thelovelystains  at gmail dot com.

So, all in all – everyone will be happy. The Lovely Stains Rocks!

Back to today’s giveaway.  Please leave a comment on this post now until Wednesday, December 7, 11 PM Pacific Standard Time.  In your comment please tell us what your New Year’s resolution is and how you are going to stick with it – let’s inspire each other!

Winners will be chosen at random and will be notified on Thursday, December 8.

Here is my new year resolution; to feel more comfy in my own skin and feel and live the moment 🙂 Well most of the time I am, but I need to learn to limit my expectations (mostly about appreciation expectation), not to make long-time plans since it makes me really upset if it doesn’t happen;) I am very well aware of what to change and I have been working on these. Believe me these are not easy to apply directly 😀

  2. What a creative idea! My New Year’s resolution is to make an exercise schedule so it’s always on my daily to-do list.

  4. Adorable cards!. My resolution is to be selfish and protect my me time. I’m always last on my list and then the day is over. So, at least once a day, 30 minutes for ME.

  5. I’m going to continue learning Arabic so that, among other things, I can work towards my goal of getting a job that I love.

  6. These cards are so pretty. My resolution is to send more cards next year to friends and loved ones. I think it makes anyone feel better to receive a beautiful card in the mail.

  7. This past year has been rough on me physically but I am making headway daily.. So many kind persons helped me by bringing cooked meals, taking my garbage cans to the street, picking up my groceries and just visiting and holding hand. I recently met 3 women who were in a homeless shelter and were looking forward to having a place of their own. The goverment helped to locate one of the 3 an apartment for her to reside in at a much reduced rent. Guess what? Being homeless. this precious person did not even have a pot or fork and spoon, a bed,or a chair. I decided to reach out to private indidivuals and others to help me furnish the apartment. I did not take junk, unless it could be painted or repaired…Why should these unfortunate live with trash when a little time can help make them feel better about having a nice fresh place to call their own. I had fun and felt good about the happiness in this woman’s life. I need to help other women find the same and wan to continue in this assistance to others.

  8. This is really creative art! Red wine painting is so cool:)
My new year resolution is to be one the best person I can be: healthy, kind, productive and helpful! I also want to read more books. I just want to push my limits more and see what I can become. I want to smile more and give more to others who are in need.. I want to inspire myself by reminding myself that I am ready 44 and I better hurry up before it is too late to accomplish any
of these goals. I need to DO BETTER!

  11. Talent and creativity has always inspired me. Ann’s work is BEAUTIFUL. I know she will find great success with her product.

My new years resolution is to carve out a bit more time for myself. Just to do nothing, sit and stare at the wall for a couple of minutes. I have 2 kids under 3 and a husband who sometimes seems like he’s on par with the kiddo’s : )
