LOS ALAMITOS, CA, July11, 2016 – On July 9, 2016, Feride Buyuran’s interview with the host of Good Food Evan Kleiman aired on KCRW.

KCRW is a community service of Santa Monica College and is Southern California’s leading National Public Radio affiliate, featuring music, news, and cultural programs. The station’s locally produced content is distribution nationally, reaching 550,000 listeners weekly. KCRW’s Good Food is a weekly program hosted by Evan Kleiman, prominent chef, author, and speaker.

The interview explored the food of Azerbaijan within its historical and cultural context, including impact of the Silk Road and Soviet Union on the formation of the national cuisine, regional culinary differences, and recipes from Feride Buyuran’s book Pomegranates and Saffron.
