Award-Winning Long Beach Author to Hold Cookbook Signing at Gatsby Books

Los Alamitos, CA, October 24, 2016 — Long Beach’s Gatsby Books is hosting Feride Buyuran, author of the award-wining cookbook, Pomegranates and Saffron: A Culinary Journey to Azerbaijan, for a book signing event on Sunday, November 20 from 3–4:30 PM. Gatsby Books Bookstore is located at 5535 E Spring Street, Long Beach, CA 90808. Question and answer session and book signing will follow the author’s presentation. Light refreshments made from the recipes in the book will be served.

Feride Buyuran is the creator of AZCookbook.com, a popular food blog that features recipes and stories from Azerbaijan and beyond. Her passion for cooking and fond childhood memories led her to produce this book – her first – about the cuisine of her homeland. Feride has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in English Philology from the State University of Languages in Azerbaijan.
